Thankful for Committed Parents

Today I am grateful for my parent's (and parent's-in-law) commitment to marriage.  Although I'm certain their paths along Marriage's highway have not always been easy (or fun), they have stayed committed to the covenants they each made before God.  Today, the world tells us we can have whatever we want - and that we always deserve "more".... but thank GOD, we have parents that hold fast to what GOD says about marriage and not the world's lies.

According to Webster's Dictionary, a legacy is "anything handed down by an ancestor or predecessor."

We ALL leave a legacy.  Our legacies are either blessings or cursings.  Whether we like it or not, our legacies WILL influence our children - and our children's children.  Because of the steadfastness and hard work (because marriage IS hard work) of our parents, they have set in place a legacy of blessing for our marriage and for our children's marriage.  Praise God for their faithfulness!!
