The day after the birthday party...we all slept-in and when Scott woke up the first thing he did was look out the window!! It REALLY snowed!! The weather man had predicted it but we weren't really going to believe it until we saw it with our own eyes!!! And, we indeed saw it!!

Scott and Dad made the some coffee to celebrate the occasion and then Dad made us the best toast I've ever eaten!! I know that sounds funny...because how do you make toast better than any other toast....but really...THIS WAS SOME AWESOME TOAST!! I think I ate three pieces!! ha!! Dad said it was so good because it was made with Love! :)

While we were eating breakfast, Dad started talking about how good
LuLu's SNOW ICE CREAM was....the more he talked about it the more we all were wanting to try it!!! Scott got a big bowl and gathered us some snow to make sure it didn't melt before we got it done!!

Then we headed over to Mitt and Kerri's to see the kids playing in the snow!! When we pulled in the drive-way, this is what we saw!!!

After a while,
Karis got enough and came inside to warm her cold toes!!!
Macey McKay and Kay were taking a little nap...they didn't seem to interested in the Winter Wonderland Outside!!!

Ansley and Matt couldn't get enough of it though!!

Matt told Mitt he wanted to "Snow fight"!!

Ansley and Paw watched from inside!!!!

After Matt worked-up a good appetite, he came in to get some breakfast!!!
Karis was really having fun with her new Barbies....
Macey McKay couldn't figure out what that funny
lookin' thing was on Paw's head...

After the Snow Ice Cream Idea, I guess the guys were in the mood to cook...they talked about this "Sausage Explosion" recipe ALL weekend and then decided to finally try it. They guys were all into it!! They went to the grocery store to get everything and drooled as they waited over three hours for the thing to cook.
Here is what it looked like before it was put in the electric smoker...

And here is what it looked like 5 minutes after it came out of the smoker!!!!

I'll post the recipes for the Snow Ice Cream and the Sausage Explosion in another post!
