Here's to Bow Fishing

Last night Scott and I took his new rigged up Bow Fishing boat on its first voyage! It was a test run to see how the platform and lights would work out....

So here it is....the Bow Fishing Rig that Scott has worked on every extra minute that's been available.....

The platform custom built by Scott himself....


My sister-in-law's brother went with us to test it out. I just happened to run into him at Kroger this week and he mentioned his wife and boys were going to be out of town this weekend. I asked if he would like to go with us....he was excited to join along!

We got out to the reservoir a little before dark so we could site in the bows on the water....once it was dark we made our way to what we were hoping would be a nice little spot...with lots of fish...

We stayed out there almost three hours and saw four fish! The water was so muggy you could hardly see more than a few inches into the water.

It was still fun though. And we know everything works properly....now we just need some clear water!!!
