And just a short 10 days later I wrote, "Holston has started pulling up on things and has even started trying to 'cruise' from one piece of furniture to another while standing."
And NOW, he can go wherever he wants.... and pulls up on anything and everything... and does it as if he has been doing it his whole life! :) I know you hear it all the time, but man, they REALLY do grow up fast!
Scott helped take these pictures, because my first attempt was a total failure. Its nearly impossible to keep him sitting for longer than half a second. Scott's method: throw him in the air, sit him down.... while I've got the camera focused and ready to snap. Most of them came out blurry because he would starting getting up before my camera could snap the picture!
Here are the few that I actually snagged fast enough....
Then, I finally gave up with the sitting.... and just let him stand.....
9-month stats: 25 pounds 13 ounces, 31 inches long
What he's doing now...
- He's got two teeth
- He's saying Mama!!!
- We he wakes up in the morning, he now waits on us to come get him while standing in the bed holding onto the rail (and usually jumping up and down)
- Loves to eat Gerber fruit puffs
- Crawling on his knees (an improvement from his army crawl)
- Drinks water from his sippy cup
- Pulls up on everything, and cruises from one piece of furniture to the next
- Loves to crawl to the door and look out the window.
- Love for me to read him books
- Belly laughs at any funny noise or funny face you make
- Seems like his favorite thing to play with is his bumbo tray! I keep his bumbo on the floor in the kitchen with the tray sitting on top of it. He loves to crawl into the kitchen and pull the tray off the bumbo and slide it around the kitchen floor.
- Has learned to smack his lips - and does it all the time!
