Good Times in Orange Beach

Colleen and I had such a good time on our beach trip. We haven't gotten to really hang out in so long. We had perfect weather....the beach was not crowded at all....and we had no schedules!! It was so nice!!!

This was an interesting project that we watched the entire time we were there. They were dredging sand from the channel down the way and pumping the sand through pipes down the beach to build the beaches up. It was very interesting to watch!

The beaches were so peaceful...there were very few other people on the beach.


I must admit..I couldn't hang in there with Colleen laying out all day every day! I got pretty red the first day so we took the second morning off from the sun and went shopping at the Outlet Malls. I found an umbrella there that I purchased to have handy for the rest of our trip.

I'm so glad we planned the trip and made it happen. We are always talking about doing something like this but rarely make it happen. I hope to make this an annual trip! Here's to VACATION!!
