Last night I was getting all my pictures off my camera and getting them better organized into folders on my laptop (you know, organized pictures are VERY important....especially when the house is a DISASTER, clothes need to be washed, floors mopped, and bathrooms cleaned...BUT pictures NEED to be organized, right?) Usually cleaning is not a drag for me...I love a clean house...but for some reason the past few days the house has been getting worse and worse..and I just keep sitting there...watching it get worse and worse. I guess I've been having a case of lazy. This morning Scott got up early to leave for work so I got up and did a quick cleaning job...gathering all the dirty clothes, putting a load in the washer, loading the dish washer with the past few days of cups in the sink, and sweeping the kitchen floor. So hopefully this afternoon I'll be motivated to do the rest!
Anyway, back to pictures... looking at the pictures on my camera reminded me of what exactly we've been busy with...if its not one thing, its certainly another....
After having Doc for a year...we've finally finished his fence. We worked on it little by little in the afternoons until we finally got it done! He LOVES it too! I can tell he has been in a much better mood in the afternoons when I get home!
After the fence was complete...Scott started working on the inside of his new trailer. He has gotten all the shelves complete but still hasn't gotten everything organized in it. Its real close though. This is what the inside looked like in the beginning:
Most of the shelving complete....He finally starts putting his equipment in it...
He has some more details to add...but at least now he can start taking it with him and using it! I'm so happy for him! He has wanted this for a long time!
The other big project that has been lingering...is DEER CAMP! We've had our campers out there for a while now...but Scott has been wanting to build a porch in between the two campers. This past Friday, we spent the night out there and he and Daniel had a "work day" Saturday to start putting up the tin roof. They built the floor of the porch a couple months ago. It looks like just one more Saturday and this project will be complete! (I don't know WHEN that Saturday will be though!) It'll be nice when its all done...complete with colored christmas lights lining the top of the porch and ceiling fans to keep us cool in the summer! :) Don't you want to come stay with us?? Anybody?
We have yet to get our garden planted this summer. But Scott still says he wants to get that done. I'm thinking we've just about waited to late though. Scott had all intentions of getting a big one planted this year since his dad didn't get to plant one after the accident. So who knows if that will ever get done this year. I sure do miss those good ole garden tomatoes though!
The plans for this coming weekend are to go to Starkville and help my brother and his family move! We will also hopefully be looking at a potential house for my parents there too! They'll be moving to Starkville as soon as they can find a house!! Lots of changes....busy, busy!

Girl I am too busy too- but I always find time to blog. That's way funner than laundry, cleaning house, etc. When I was little I always told my mama I would never make my bed when I got grown- I'd have a maid! HA!
Yes, I will come stay with you under the Christmas lights...lol
We know all about being busy, too. I can barely breathe this time of year. If you don't get your garden planted, I can bring you some of those tomatoes you want. It may not be too late to plant, though. You should be fine. Let me know if there are other vegetables you'd like. I can't wait for ours! I get so excited when I can start putting up our vegetables. :)
Just wanted to say that I enjoyed meeting you this week. And thanks for letting Kim and I come over and use your hot water! That was soooo great. Hope to see you again soon.
