Birthday Santa

Well, I had a great 29th birthday. Its REALLY hard to believe that I am that old. I don't feel a day over 20! Sometimes I still can't believe I have a full-time job and am no longer a student!! PRAISE the Lord those days are over! Anyway, this week has been crazy busy so I'm just now getting to blog about the birthday Santa that came to visit me Sunday morning. Scott (for some reason) set his alarm for six o'clock Sunday morning - I assume to have plenty of "birthday time" before we had to leave for church! Anyway, the first words out of his mouth after he turned the alarm off were "Happy Birthday!" After giving me a few minutes to get woken up, he precedes to leave the bedroom and tells me not to come out, shutting the door behind him. I wait for several minutes until he comes back in to get me and tells me shut my eyes. He leads me out of our bedroom and into the living room where I find THIS...

...everything I need to hunt...and I DO mean everything!! Of course I needed it all since I have a new Bow to hunt with this year!! The couch was totally covered with new camo clothes - and LADY camo clothes at that, complete with a PINK Mossy Oak emblem on them, gloves, a mossy oak t-shirt, new hunting boots and a safety harness (modeled to the left), a camo fanny-pack, a quiver (for those of you not familiar with bow hunting necessities - thats something that holds my arrows that attaches to my bow), some new broad heads, some thingy to put on my arrows that glow so I can find the arrow when I miss, and a bow-rest for when I'm sitting in the tree! Oh, and I certainly can't forget my mask!!!

You look so cute! Quinn would probably love for me to hunt. Sure, if I could sit silent longer than 10 minutes I would be an excellent hunter. Except for the whole "I don't think I can actually shoot that gun into that deer" thing. I'll EAT the dead deer, but that's where I draw the line.
