Our first (my VERY first) 3D shoot with our new bows is just three weeks away. This is a scheduled event with the Sportsmen Seeking Him ministry that Scott is leading with our church. There are actually several other ladies in our church that shoot bows so it should be lots of fun!! I have a lot to learn in a short time though! From what little we got to shoot today I know I am REALLY going to like it!
Its been raining almost all day so we haven’t gotten to shoot them much...we are hoping for sunny weather tomorrow so we can finish getting them sited in and tuned up! We hope to start doing a lot of 3D Tournaments together, so I'm very excited about this being our little "hobby" that we can do together! As far as hunting, Scott has already graciously told me, "Now don’t feel like you have to go hunting with me every time I go just because you have a bow." I knew exactly what he meant when he told me that too...ha ha!!

How sweet! Y'all will have so much fun with them. Not that I know how to shoot one or anything. David has one, and he seems to like it! 8) Are you gonna plan to hunt with it? I go hunting with David, but I take the video camera. A couple of years ago I missed a doe with a gun, and I haven't shot at a deer since...but I do enjoy shooting at targets. Oh well, maybe I'll get the courage to truly "hunt" again. I love sitting out there and listening for the animals...I could just simply watch them. Also, I enjoy hanging out with my hubby and doing something that he loves! It's special to share interests with our husbands, isn't it? I'm proud of you!! Love you!
