Holston at 6 weeks old!

Holston didn't enjoy our 6 week photo shoot today because he was sleepy and I was trying to make him smile for the camera! He pretty much slept all day today. Yesterday he was awake a good bit - so I guess he was making up for it!

Just this week he has started smiling at me- on purpose. He has been smiling in his sleep since day 1, but he is now starting to smile at you when he is awake! Its the cutest thing - he opens his mouth up wide when he smiles! I was so wanting to capture that smile for his 6 week picture, but it just didn't happen. I got one picture that was ALMOST it, but he wasn't looking at the camera - for some reason he was fascinated with looking at the crib railing!

So today, instead of the one BEST picture, I'm giving you a series of pictures from the whole shoot! And because he really never cries - I decided to even throw in a few of him crying! :) He is even adorable when he cries! After a few minutes of, "Hol-ston! Smile at Mommy! Hol-ston! Look at Mommy!" - he had had enough and was ready for me to leave him alone and put him back down to go to sleep!
